Privacy Statement:

We respect your right to privacy and the need to safeguard personal information shared with us. All such information- including name, address, telephone number, and credit card data – will not be shared with any other party outside The Morton Arboretum unless you knowingly give permission for its use. In addition, we will not permanently store any customer credit card information.

We will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day and will close at 3:00pm on Christmas Eve.

We will also be closed on the first Monday in January for our annual inventory process.

Shipping

Please allow 2-3 business days for standard order processing. Once the order has been processed, the standard delivery time is 5-7 business days. Express delivery is available via 2nd day UPS Delivery, for an additional fee. All packages are shipped via UPS and are shipped Monday through Friday. Shipping charges are calculated automatically during checkout based on the shipping location, residence vs. business, and delivery option selected during checkout. Our shipping and handling charges have been calculated to cover actual shipping costs. Some of our items may incur extra shipping costs because the dimensions or weights exceed the limits of standard shipping rates and require a surcharge, which will be noted on your check-out form.

Please enter a physical shipping address and note that we are unable to ship to PO, APO or FPO boxes. If your order is being shipped to a business, please include the name of the business in the ship-to address. If your order is being shipped to a particular apartment or suite, please include the apartment or suite number when entering the ship-to address.

Shipments can be made in the contiguous 48 states and shipping fees will be calculated according to the above mentioned parameters. For shipments outside the continental United States or in Canada, please note that you will be contacted once your order has gone through for an additional $20.00 shipping fee to cover additional shipping costs including duties, taxes, and possible brokerage fees. Shipping to other international countries, besides Canada, is not available.

Shipping of Gift Cards

Shipping costs for a gift card are calculated based on the value of the card and the shipping address. Cards of $50 value or below will be sent via insured USPS Priority Mail. Gift cards purchased in values of above $50 will be sent via UPS to guarantee insurance on the delivery. Standard UPS shipping rates will apply.

Forms of Payment

We accept the following methods of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and The Morton Arboretum gift card.

Items are charged to your credit card at the time of ordering. All orders are processed within 2-3 business days.

For verification purposes, every purchase made with a gift card also requires you to enter a credit card number. It will only be charged if the order total exceeds the amount on your gift card. In this scenario, you will be charged the outstanding order balance.

Sales Tax

All shipments to addresses within Illinois will include a 7.00% sales tax computed before shipping and delivery charges.

Gift Cards

The Morton Arboretum gift cards may be purchased in a $25, $50, $100, $200, and $500 denominations. Each gift card will come in a sleeve with The Morton Arboretum logo. Lost or stolen cards are not refundable. Card and balance not redeemable for cash or credit. Any unused balance remains on the card. Card can’t be used to purchase other gift cards. The Morton Arboretum reserves the right to change or terminate all or parts of this program at any time. Purchase of this card constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. Gift cards can be redeemed at our online store or onsite at The Arboretum Store, Gatehouse, Ginkgo Restaurant, Ginkgo Café, Education Department, Visitor Services Information Desk, Spring Plant Sale, or Glass Pumpkin Patch. Gift cards can be purchased in other denominations by calling The Arboretum Store at 630-719-2454. Standard shipping rates and times apply.

Member Discounts

All members of The Morton Arboretum receive a 10% discount at The Arboretum Store and online at shop.mortonarb.org. Please enter your existing membership number during checkout to receive your discount. Your 10% member discount will not show up on your transaction until it is finalized.

Returns

We want you to be delighted with your purchase at shop.mortonarb.org. If for any reason you are not satisfied, please return the item within 60 days for a full refund or exchange, whichever you prefer. All refunds will be issued using the original method of payment. Gift card purchases being returned will be refunded in the form of another gift card and will be mailed to your billing address. All items being returned must be in their original condition, in their original packaging and must include price labels and packing list included with the shipment. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Returns made without a receipt or packing list will be refunded on a gift card and will be credited at the current selling price, minus the 10% member discount.

When you enter your personal information on our website, we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect your information as it is transmitted to us. To make sure you are accessing our secure server before you submit your personal information, look at the lower left-hand corner of your browser. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending on your browser), then SSL is active. To double-check for security, look at the URL or Location line of your browser. If you have accessed a secure server, the first characters of the address in that line should change from ‘http’ to https’. Your credit card is charged when you finalize your purchase online and your credit card information is not kept on file in anyway once your purchase has shipped.
